Rebecca Richmond

Associate Director, Strategy & Special Projects

As an associate director, Rebecca provides support for initiatives under the five pillars of the University’s strategic plan. With the OSI Team, she is a resource for Strategic Initiative Fund (SIF) distribution and allocation and is a resource for initiative teams concerning project plans, metrics, reporting and communicating successes to all stakeholders. She has expertise in event planning and often co-hosts special events with initiative teams. Rebecca also serves as an OSI Core representative for University special projects.

Before joining OSI, Rebecca was director of data governance and services at the University of Arizona Foundation, where she built the List Production service to support alumni and development needs. Most recently, she helped lead the process to create a data governance program. 

She began her career at University of Arizona as a student worker at the Eller College of Management in the Dean’s Office, and continued to work at Eller for nearly 10 years after graduation, focusing on finance management, alumni relations and development, and customer relationship management systems. Rebecca is dedicated to collaborative problem solving and process improvement, and is proud to support the University’s strategic goals.

Rebecca is a Tucson native and Wildcat alumna (x2). She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the Eller College of Management.
