ASTEC and the SensorLab are Health Sciences strategic initiatives collaborating to support interprofessional student education and tackle challenges in healthcare.
ASTEC (Wildcat Journey pillar) provides interprofessional healthcare simulation opportunities through state-of-the-art interactive technologies. The SensorLab (Grand Challenges pillar) connects researchers across disciplines to develop an array of technologies and digital solutions for healthcare applications (e.g., AI, VR, mobile apps). In addition to providing state-of-the-art healthcare simulation training, ASTEC & the SensorLab also develop novel technologies and engage in both internal and external research collaborations.
